Objectives of the Department

• To identify, process and disseminate new technologies for Agriculture, Industry and other sectors.
• To advise the State Government on policy issues related to Science & Technology.
• To provide effective linkages of State Government Department with Research & Development Institutions, Laboratories, Universities and various Central Government Departments.
• The Department of Science & Technology (DST) functions through its agency Haryana State Council For Science, Innovation & Technology (HSCSIT).
